Color Club Glitter Shades set

I was having a quick look in TK Maxx when I spotted six glitter polishes and one top coat for just £7.99 which of course meant I had to treat myself. I've only used one other Color Club polish before (which I loved) so this glitter shades to rock the stage set is a welcomed addition to my collection. As I've mentioned the set comes complete with six glitter polishes; take the stage, wish upon a rock-star, backstage pass, platinum record, Its a hit and Fame & fortune. Although these aren't labelled so I couldn't tell you which one is which. I think this is a great set to watch out for if you're a glitter addict like me or even if you're starting out with nail polish as these work out just over a pound per polish!
Which is your favourite glitter? Personally I think the second will be amazing for layering!

My evening skincare routine..

Since moving into halls last week I've been a little bit obsessed with the fact that I have my very own sink. So much so that I've found myself dropping my preferred method cleanse, tone and moisturise for newer ones and have been loving the results so far. Considering the lack of sleep and poor diet, my skin is in pretty good shape at the moment which I'm putting down to these five beauties!

Bioderma (£14.50/500ml) - I love and rave about this stuff so much so I wont bore you with my obsession with it too much. It's just a really good make up remover which I use first on my skin to get rid of the majority of my eye and face make up. While it may seem expensive its worth every penny since it lasts forever.

Nspa melting Cleansing Gel (£6.00/125ml) - I use this after my bioderma to insure that I've gotten every last bit of my make up off, Its a really lovely product (currently 3 for £10 in Asda) which starts as a gel and turns into a cleansing milk on the face. It leaves my skin feeling really clean without drying it out.

Superdrug Naturally radiant hot cloth cleanser (£5.99/150ml) - Once I've finished with my cleansing gel I love using this hot cloth cleanser which leaves my skin feeling so soft after use! Its a complete steal especially when its on offer!

Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins* (£34.00/50ml) - Since getting this in my Origins goodie bag I have been in love, I use this after my hot cloth cleanser and find it leaves my skin feeling so moisturised. Although its more than i would normally spend on a moisturiser you only use a tiny amount plus it smells amazing too!

Simple regeneration eye cream (£6.99/15ml) - As I mentioned I've had a serious lack of sleep which makes eye cream a must! I really like this one from simple, It leaves the eyes around my skin feeling loved and dries quickly too.

So there you have it, the skincare saviours I've been loving lately! What are your favourite cleansing products?

Headmasters event

Since I last spoke to you guys I've moved away from my family home and into halls for the first time, although instead of one of those cliche moving posts showing the ridiculous amount of stuff I'm taking with my I figured I'd take a look back at a one of the last evenings I got to spend with LFA thanks to Company Magazine! As a lot of you will be aware last week was #companybeautyweek and myself and LFA were lucky enough to go to two events, the second one being the headmasters styling event.
Surprisingly we were actually on time meaning we were whisked straight downstairs and met with an army of stylists who advised us on looks which would suit us from the blow dry menu, while I ended up picking the mayfair grunge  LFA picked the Bergdorf Bounce. We then went our separate ways with our stylists who both made us feel really comfortable. Personally I've never even visited a salon before (I've always been lucky enough to have friends who could cut and style hair) so I wasn't sure what to expect although It wasn't long before we I was chatting away even without LFA by my side.
Once my hair was washed (with products that smelt incredible) my stylist got to work with my blowdry. What I loved about this experience is that I really picked up useful tips, and my stylist was quick to ask which tools I had at home to enable me to recreate the look myself.
Since my hair is pretty fine and quicker to style I spent a little while waiting for LFA and watching her look come together I also got the chance to talk to the Company girls who were all really lovely. Above is our finished look with LFA being on the left and myself on the right.
Before leaving we were handed two bags each which were filled with goodies, so as normal if you want to hear more about any of the products below just let me know.
In our really pretty company bag we were given a bottle batiste dry shampoo which I look forward to trying as I only ever use the blonde one, a little white lie tanning mouse which I cant wait to try since I've just gotten into tanning, a Loreal lipstick , a handcream from one of my favourite brands Rituals, a pretty nails in polish in the shade, a Malibu swimmers treatment,  a paul mitchell curling product along with a comb, a sample of blanx tooth paste and some green tea.
Headmasters were also amazingly generous and we all walked away with a voucher for a cut and blow dry, hairspary, dry shampoo, heat defence spray, blow dry cream and some heat defence serum.

Thanks again to both Company and Headmasters for such a great night, and once again If you'd like to hear more about any of these products left me know. Finally a big thanks to LFA who let me steal her event photos, be sure to say and read her version of events here.

Origins GinZing Event

As a lot of you may already know, last week was company magazine's beauty week. Myself and LFA were really lucky to get tickets to two events and today I thought I'd tell you guys about one of them. The Origins GinZing event was held in London's amazing OXO2, the venue itself was incredible and complete with amazing views.
We had the chance to speak to one of the origins girls about the new Origins GinZing Energy boosting moisturiser (which I now need after trying on the back of my hand- The texture and smell are  both amazing) along with a few other products I cant wait to try.
I loved the fact that it was just a relaxed way to speak about their products rather than being pushed into making a purchase. There were also stands complete with an array of skincare and make up products to try out along with a stand where people were getting facials although in the excitement we forgot to take a picture!
If that wasn't enough the event also had its very own photobooth which I felt was a great addition to the night- although I wont force you all to witness the results of our trips! We were also lucky enough to receive a goodie bag each and since I love noising on them I figured I'd show you the contents of ours. (As always if there's something you want to hear more about let me know)
In my bag was a sample of the Bumble & Bumble gentle shampoo and conditioner which I really look forward to trying, a sample of DKNY's Be delicious which has found a home in my handbag, a 15ml sample of origins modern friction which was actually on my wishlist from the event, and a 30ml High-Potency Night-A-Min which I have been loving since I got it!
I would just like to say a massive thank you to everyone involved in the event, It was a great night which has given me so much more confidence when it comes to these things. Just to clarify this post is in no way bragging, I am just truly grateful for the opportunity and personally love reading event posts like this! Finally a big thank you to LFA whose camera/pictures I stole after working out mine copes poorly with artificial lighting!

Stocking up on London essentials

I currently live just outside of London, meaning if I need too I can just pop on the train and be in the centre within half an hour. Unfortunately this year I wont have this luxury as I'm moving a whole three hours away, although I did manage to stock up on my favourite items while I was in London for a few events last week.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O (£14.50/500ml) - Like many other bloggers I am a huge fan of Bioderma! I normally don't buy into hype and find a lot of the time you can find similar products for cheaper, but nothing seems to match up to this. It just feels like water - you could basically have your eye open and it still wouldn't sting! I've made both blogger and non blogger friends try it and it got a thumbs up from everyone. Amazingly I still have around one fourth of my 250ml bottle left which I brought in may so I know this will last me ages despite me reaching for it every night.

& other stories Shinjuki Bloom Hand soap/lotion (£4.00-£5.00/250ml) - Although only the Lotion is pictured I picked up this duo after using it in store and being blown away.  I'm aware that hand soap isn't the most interesting thing in the world although for the first time I will have my very own sink and plan to make it a place of luxury - until my student loan goes and I resort to tesco value..

& Other stories Punk Bouquet Body Scrub (£7.00/250ml) - Since trying my first one of these in may I have been in love! I picked up my two favourite scents Punk Bouquet as pictured above and Shinjuku bloom. They just do the job so so well and smell amazing!

Vaseline Paint the town (£3.49/20g) - I was walking past Selfridges the day this launched and had to walk in, I'm not the biggest fan of vaseline but this smells lovely which meant I had to have it!

Nails inc for Colgate

Currently in selected Boots stores, Colgate are offering costumers a free nails inc polish with the purchase of any max white one tooth paste. There are two shades up for grabs; luminous red gloss and  luminous read metallic. Personally I went for the metallic shade as I do not own anything else like it, although the gloss shade is lovely too! Max white one retails at £3.99, although I'd recommend checking your Boots advantage card offers. I got a 25% off voucher for toothpaste making this duo just £2.99!
Will you be making the most of this offer?

Free Philip Kingsley in Instyle!

In this months copy of Instyle (£3.90) readers are offered a free 40ml Philip Kingsley Elasticizer worth £8. Originally I thought this was some sort of hair mask although when I read the packaging I realised that it was actually a pre-shampoo treatment . I've actually wanted to try one of these types of products for a while now although most are so expensive, meaning i'm so happy to have this in my collection! I cant see this 40ml sample going too far with my long hair, although If I love it that much I guess I could be tempted by the 25% off offer over at Feel Unique.

Will you be giving this a try?

Free Clinque & Nails Inc with Marie Claire magazine!

If you're only going to buy one magazine this month, make it Marie Claire! This month it seems they have pulled out all of the stocks to celebrate the magazines 25th birthday with a bang. Not only are readers offered an exclusive sample of Clinque's repairwear laser focus serum (7ml) which hasn't even hit the shops yet, they can also take a couple of pages to their local House of Fraser for even more goodies!
By taking the above page to a Clinque counter in the House of Fraser readers will be given a free sample of repair laser focus eye cream (3ml) and free foundation fitting.
If that wasn't good enough readers are also offered a free nails inc polish upon taking the above page to the House of Fraser counter nails inc counter (although this time stores have been listed; Oxford street, Victoria, Belfast City, Glasgow, Guildford,Cardiff, Metro Centre, Birmingham, Bristol, Nottingham, Manchester and Maidstone)
As an added extra there are also some pretty nice samples included such as this Eucerin Dermo Purifyer duo, Clarins double Serum and Dolce & Gabbana Intense. Personally I think this is amazing value for money, and will be trying to pick up my goodies next week!
