Eye ♥ Hello Kitty Smoky Eye Kit!

I picked this little cutie up while sale shopping the other day- I just couldn’t resist! Everything right down to the packaging of this product is lovely. And at just £6, It was as cheap as chips!
The kit contains ‘3 classic smoky eye shadow pots with a double ended applicator’
I apologise for the image over load now, It’s just too pretty!

 The shadows go on quite nicely and are well worth the £6 price tag!
My personal favourite has to be Nude:

I also love the brush you get with it- I wasn’t expecting it to be so soft!

I brought this bargain in the sale at boots, for just £6!

No7 and Poppy King

For as long as I can remember I’ve been up at the crack of dawn boxing day to hit the shops. This year was no different in fact- the only reason I eventually headed home was because my arms simply couldn’t carry more! Needless to say, I was back again the next day!
I found myself in Boots on both days, I find their sale is great. Gifts are always 50% off, Which gives everyone a great chance to try different products at great prices. Armed with a purse full of Christmas money I hit boots on boxing day, I was looking for a nail art set I had spotted before Christmas day- but sadly in both of my local boots they been snapped up, although that didn’t stop me from spending a ridiculous amount cosmetics! I picked up a poppy king lip palette and lip gloss set along with a few other items on boxing day- But fell so in love with the collection I went back for the lip and cheek duo the next day!
The cracker shaped Item contained two amazing lip glosses – No7 and Poppy King Celebrate Sultry & Stunning, Rich year sheer colours designed by Poppy King to Give your lips that Sultry & Stunning look!’

The set contained two lip glosses, for just £6! Plum and deep wine lip gloss;
The darker colour is definitely my favourite! Its not too overpowering, But at the same time it gives your lips a lovely colour.
My second Poppy King buy was the palette of lip shades- No7 and Poppy King Celebrate Cheeky & Cheerful, A special palette of lip shades designed for cheeky nights and cheerful days!’
I haven't actually used this palette yet, It is just too pretty! And at just £5 a total steal!

A thing I love about this product is the brush! It isn't a cheap one you expect in a palette- Its actually of a great quality and I look forward to using it!

The last item I brought was a cheek and lip tint set- No7 and Poppy King celebrate Balmy & Beautiful, Soft and natural colours desgined by Poppy King to tint and treat your lips and cheeks!’

Have I mentioned how much I adore the Poppy King packaging!?

The set contains a lip and cheek multiple and blotting papers

At just £5 this was a complete bargain! The shade’s are perfect for pale skin!

Have you found any good sale buys yet?

Santa Claus is coming to town..

Yes, I plan on having unrelated Christmasy titles until the big day comes :]
I thought I'd share a quick post while I have a break from studying for my law exam..
My latest Christmasy find is this stunning nail colour in Emerald green from Barry M,

The colour is amazing! I've had a bunch of comments since putting it on Monday,

I do have one issue with it though, Which is so annoying because I love the shimmer to it so much.. It just takes a lifetime to dry! It goes into that sticky nearly dry stage for what seems like a lifetime,I have so many marks from falling asleep on it- But luckily the shimmer of it does kind of mask them, but its not the point..I hate when nail varnishes take forever to dry!
What do you guys make of this colour?

Monday 5 December 2011

It’s being to look a lot like Christmas…

I bet you’re already sick of Christmas posts, and it’s only the 5th! Ah, well 20 days to go ;)
Since the festive season is upon us, I figured I’d share my five frosty Favourites with you (Gah, I’m so cheesy!)
The raspberry kiss  bath & shower gel by treacle moon, Asda’s Protect dual action moisturiser, Avon intense protection hand cream, I love..strawberries & milkshake glossy lip balm and Carmex lip balm…
My first and possibly my favourite out of the bunch is Asda’s Protect dual action moisturiser, priced at just £2 this stuff is amazing…If you’re the kind of person that worries about breaking out when using a new moisturiser this is probably a good option for you. It ‘Moisturises skin without clogging pores, Antibacterial ingredients help to prevent spots and break outs- Leaving skin soft and smooth’. I won’t lie- It smells horrid which is probably the only negative I have to say about it. But if you can put up with that distinctive spot treatment smell as you open the lid, It’s all worth it. I love the light texture of it, and how it leaves skin feeling amazing in a matter of minutes.
Avon intense protection hand cream. I’m not sure if this hand cream is still sold by Avon, but I found it at the bargain price of £0.99. It’s not the quickest when it comes to soaking in, but it does a bloody good job! When I was younger, I would suffer with terribly dry skin on my hands,It would constantly cause me pain during the winter months. I’ve been using this since the cold months began, and so far my hands are just as healthy as the would be in the winter. So it’s a win from me!

The raspberry kiss  bath & shower gel by treacle moon- You can find this for around £3 in Tesco stores. The scent reminds me of the summer, which is basically why I love it to be honest..
Carmex lip balm- as you can tell from the state of my tube, I use this a lot! At under £3 it does a fantastic job at keeping your lips crack free during the winter, in fact it’s the only lip balm that I’ve found which is this good at it! My tube is basically gone now, I’ll have to pick another one ASAP!

I love..strawberries & milkshake glossy lip balm costs about £1 from super drug, I don’t think I’m ever going to finish this tub. No matter how much I seem to pile it on, the amount left never seems to go down. I love the scent it gives off and the shade on my lips, Its defiantly a must have from me!

What are your fave products this time of year?

Dove hair care

(Just a quick post on a product I LOVE! And hopefully the last post with terrible images after the arrival of my new iphone!)

I fell inlove with dove oil treatment this week after seeing the wonders it does for my hair, Before my hair was curly, fizzy and wavy all at once, It was impossible to leave the house without straighting;

But after using this product, I find my hair is  transformed, and the smell is just amazing!
Its still wavy, But so much more manageable than before;

The dove hair collection can be found in boots, superdrug and most other supermarkets.

New Barry M Croc Nail Effect!

I was checking my emails today when I came across this from Barry M:

How good does this stuff look!? At such a great price too! (Click the image to see the video)

H&M Online

When it comes to online shopping, I have pretty much no luck. Missing items, late deliveries, you name it!
But I simply couldn't resist the sale prices at H&M, Especially when all the items were still full price at my local store! The total price of my order was meant to be £39.96 but with the wonderful sales, and 25% off of one item for new costumers the grand total was £19.23 (including the £3.90 delivery charge) Items I brought:

Cardigan £12.99£3.99 /Nail polish 99p each /Poncho £24.99  £12.49
 Not bad for under £20..The poncho ended up being just £9.37 with the 25% off deal (Just sign up to Hm.com and you should get this email for new customers!) I made my order on the 15th of October, It didn't come until the 27th (Not quite the 4-6 days promised), But I did get an Email the night before the order came telling me It would be here within the next two days.

I was happy to see that my items were neatly folded for a change;

I cant wait to test my new nail polishes!

Overall I was pleased with the service provided by H&M (And the bargains of course!) I would definitely order from Hm.com again!

17 Nail Xtras Strengthening Base Coat

'17 Nail Xtras Strengthening Base Coat Nail Polish strengthens and protects nails to help stimulate growth.'

During the summer, I was in desperate need of a base coat so I ran along to boots and picked this bargain up.
17 Nail Xtras Strengthening Base Coat is priced at just £3.99, and seems to last forever,
I have been using this product for at least twice a week, for months now and I still have over half the bottle!
I cant really comment on the whole stimulating grow, and strengthening effects because naturally I have strong and long nails.
But I did have some white spots before I started to use this, In just one use they were completely gone.
It dries pretty quickly and has a cute little shimmer to it. I highly recommend this base coat if you're looking for a great product at a low price.

(I would have taken my own images, but my cameras SD card snapped. I hope to have a new one soon)

Natural Collection Duo Eyeshadow

While looking at the Natural collection products, I also picked this little beauty up;

For only £1.99, you get two eyeshadows, (Mocha/latte) both great colours!

Despite my love of browns, I have found myself using the creamy/white eyeshadow more.
It gives my eyes a more 'alive' look, which I love!
Another great product that has earned its way into my make up bag !

Natural Collection Cover-up Stick

Up until last month, I had never tried the Natural collection range, so while Boots had their big 3 for 2 mix and match going in, I picked up a few bits.
I got an eye shadow duo, pressed powered and a cover up stick- All for under £4! I honestly didn't expect them to be of great quality...

I'm not the type of person that loves a face full of make up, If anything I hate it.
So for me a cover up stick seemed like an ideal solution, I could still look natural while covering up anything I needed to;

Although the image doesn't portray it very well, The cover-up stick was a great match to my skin tone.
I loved the product! It was so smooth and had great coverage for my skin!
My only issue with it was that it broke before I even had the chance to use it properly, Which apparently according to the views on Boots, Is pretty common. But if you're willing to put up with that- This cover-up stick is worth a try!
Its definitely earned a place in my fastly growing make-up bag!
What do you make of the Natural collection range?

My Heart's Desire

While shopping I noticed this cute little blusher on sale;
At the bargain price of a pound I had to have it!

Inside is just too sweet! With little hearts (Just like bronzer balls)

The blush is the perfect colour for my skin tone, Its a product I would use often;

I'm really liking Primarks make up range right now, Its so cheap yet the quality is great!

Glo Baby Glo!

While shopping over the weekend, I picked up a few cheap goodies,
I love the packaging of the Primark make up range- Its so pretty!
I've never really tried the products, but this colour caught my eye;

 I've been looking for a nice lilacy colour for a while now, This was perfect!
Normally the 'Glo baby Glo' polishes are £2, But this was discounted to only £1!
Bargain!
Above is how the polish looked ( I also used 17 nail xtras strengthening base coat, and No7 Stay perfect top coat)
A wonderful result at such a low price! I know I'm going back for more!
Have you ever tried any Primark make up products?
